The New Geo Utility

THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE & ENERGY EFFICIENT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY

What is a Geo Utility?

When a city provides it’s residents and businesses with the option to use Geothermal as a way to heat and cool their home or building. In short, the city becomes a Geo Utility for all residences and businesses in the district. Like traditional electric or gas utilities, a Geo Utility has the ability for residents, building owners and municipalities to connect to the Geothermal system at any time by connecting into the system.

What is Geothermal?

Geothermal Exchange technology relies primarily on the earth’s natural thermal energy, a renewable resource, to heat or cool a home or commercial building.

Geothermal heating and cooling uses the relatively constant temperature of the earth to heat and cool homes and businesses with 40% to 70% less energy than conventional systems.

While conventional furnaces and boilers burn a fuel to generate heat, geothermal heat pumps use electricity to simply move heat from the earth into buildings, allowing much higher efficiencies.

The most efficient fuel-burning heater can reach efficiencies around 95%, but a geothermal heat pump can move more than 4 units of heat for every unit of electricity needed to power the system, resulting in a practical equivalence of over 400% efficiency.

Advantages of a Geo Utility system for your community:

Costs – Reduction in energy costs for residents, building owners & municipalities

Sustainable – Environmentally responsible as it uses renewable energy.

Financally Responsible – Tax credits and Grants available

Local Jobs – Creates good paying local jobs for the community

Future Costs – Stabilization of future energy costs
